Stam & Roodenburg International S.L.
In 2022 we decided to make a big step; moving from The Netherlands to Spain and start a new life under the sun between the orange trees in Valencia. Together with this step, the plan came to start a wholesale company selling products to
horti- and agricultural companies. Spain, and especially the Comunidad de Valencia, has the perfect climate to grow fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers and with a positive mindset we started our journey to make a success out of it.
Now a days, we are selling various horticultural products to many clients. With our many years of experience and a lot of contacts worldwide we are able to assist our clients to discover the ideal product at the ideal cost. SR AgroCulture can provide you with all horti- and agricultural products to grow your flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit. From the smallest pots, crop specified substrates, fertilizers, personal protection, various machinery to complete irrigation projects. We can also advise you in crop protection, calculate your irrigation system, take care of the transport and all export documentation in addition to other product-specific specialties.

Jos Roodenburg
'There is nothing more beautiful than making a customer happy'

My name is Jos Roodenburg and I am one of the founders of Stam & Roodenburg International S.L.
I have been working in the horticultural world since 1993 where I started my career in the back office of an export department at a company in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.
I have always enjoyed being in contacting with foreign customers all over the world from North America, via Europe to Australia. The pleasure of working with these people made every day a new surprise and happiness.
During these 30 years from back office to logistics and then to sales, I eventually ended up as an Export Manager.
In 2019 I found the love of my life and luckily she is from Spain.
Because I travel from the Netherlands to Spain and back many times a year, I decided to stay permanently in 2022.
Spain is the country where work and pleasure meet, so under the sun I first started my journey in logistics, but after a while I found out that my roots in horticulture were still growing.
Now my goal is to make SR Agroculture a great success and together with my partner Ben and I have all the confidence in this.

‘Growing up with a father as a grower, gardener and with a garden center in his back garden,
I guess you could say that Horticulture is in my blood.’
At a young age my family and I moved to spain for a new adventure which lasted almost 10 years before moving back to The Netherlands where I gave my sales career a boost by selling cars.
All those years selling cars always felt like a learning curve and not like a persute of career I wanted to follow.
A job position opened up at a horticulture supplier and I directly knew, with my families past, that this was meant for me.
Even though I enjoyed every day, working at the horticultural supplier, there was still something missing, doing it for myself.
Together with my companion Jos we strive to perfection every day.
